This is a pleasantly laid-back spot in Seminyak, with a lovely view over the ocean. There’s no minimum spend but you are expected to eat and drink and it’s not the cheapest place in the area.

If you want to slump on beach bags on the sand and drink cocktails and work over sharing plates, there are definitely worse places to be than La Plancha.

Just make sure to book a table that’s big enough – the recommended numbers here reflect the size of very small Balinese people by the looks of things. We found ourselves very cramped at one of the smaller tables in a group of just three people!
